This is a surface treatment process in which a stream of high pressure water is mixed with abrasive particles which are
directed on to the surface to be treated. This method is used to remove paint, metal scales, rust, salt and other contaminants
from the surface. The velocity of the water jet along with hardness, density, toughness and particle shape of the
abrasives will create a surface prole to provide a suitable surface for painting.
Fluidtech offers high pressure water jetting pump sets with venturi nozzles which are mounted on to the water jetting
guns which mixes water with the abrasives. This method is called “wet sand blasting” which offer a pollution free
water/abrasive operation.
